Sports contest is continuing  many new records are still ahead! 03.06.14 Sports contest is continuing many new records are still ahead! As spring comes, the sports contest between workers of the City of Krasnodar has started. The employees of companies carrying out their activities in Krasnodar were invited to participate in sports competitions. PANH Helicopters sports team could definitely not avoid taking part therein.
Competitions in tug-of-war, darts, backgammon, relay race and streetball have been held since the start of the sports contest. Our participants have already achieved high results and got winning places in darts, backgammon and relay race.
We are looking forward to further performances and wish good luck and new victories to our participants! To prepare for competitions in 2014 meant to work to deadlines. Grandiose building was performed in severe environmental mountainous conditions so it could not be done without the assistance from PANH Helicopters aviation specialists. During the preparation for 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi the PANH Helicopters flown for about 2000 hours. Ka-32 and Mil-26 helicopters were involved in the construction of ropeways, cell towers, power transmission towers, delivery of oversize cargo (transformers, substations and structures) to mountain areas.
Supported by helicopters the mounting of avalaunchers and delivery of means and supplies for engineering protection were carried out. Olympic venues construction was humming. PANH Helicopters specialists made a weighty contribution to creation of the nowadays world best sports ground. PANH Helicopters was also on duty during the Olympic Games to perform energy grid remedial operations if required. Snowy weather, snowstorm and strong wind palsied the federal highway traffic.

Rescue and medical team on board the helicopter in cooperation with the crew determined the most difficult to overcome road segments and provided assistance there.

Means for medical aid, and also hot tea in thermoses, instant soups and sandwiches were loaded on board helicopter.
By the end of the first day the flight crew had made several flights to Kushchyovsky, Kropotkin, Gulkevichi Districts of the highway.

The rescue operations will be preceded until the situation on the highways has been back to normal. Moreover, during the visit the guests could see with own eyes and assess Flight Test Base where PANH Helicopters large aircraft fleet is based. The main objective of the visit was discussion of modernization of Mi-8T, Mi-2 helicopters and also An-2 plane by re-engining. Replacement of engines will improve aircraft flight and operating performances.
